Signal Decay

The loss of relevance for a buying signal over time.

Anti-Fragile take

A job posting from three months ago is history, not a signal. Signal decay defines how long each signal type remains actionable.

We set per-signal half-lives from historical data: how long after a signal did deals actually close? That window is the decay period.

Why it matters

Acting on stale signals wastes rep time and damages credibility with prospects who already filled the role or made the purchase.

How we build it

Per-signal-type decay curves, automated score recalculation, and alerts that expire when signals go cold.
