Pipeline Velocity

The speed at which opportunities move through your funnel from creation to close.

Pipeline Velocity · defined

Anti-Fragile take

Pipeline velocity is a systems metric, not a rep metric. Slow velocity usually means bad routing, stale scoring, or leads sitting in queues nobody trusts.

We measure velocity at each stage transition and fix the system bottleneck: routing latency, scoring freshness, enrichment gaps, or sequence deliverability.

Why it matters

Faster velocity means more revenue from the same headcount. Most velocity gains come from data and routing, not rep coaching.

How we build it

Stage-transition timestamps in warehouse, bottleneck dashboards, and targeted fixes on the slowest handoff.
