The problem
Signal alerts go to a shared Slack channel. Reps scroll past them. Nobody owns the alert. Adoption dies within two weeks.
The system
- Route to owner. Every signal alert is a DM to the account owner, not a channel post.
- Package evidence. Signal type, source link, account score, and suggested first line.
- CRM task. Parallel CRM task created so the signal is actionable in both places.
- Track adoption. Measure alert-to-action rate per rep. Low adoption triggers a delivery redesign.
Field notes
Batch alerts in shared channels have near-zero adoption. Territory-assigned DMs with evidence get worked. This is the single biggest lever for signal engine ROI.
